“famous last words” We had absolutely no intention of coming home with two Maine Coons. We were only going to get ONE..one..only one!!!!!! And that is how the story began…My husband had absolutely no idea where we were going. I had planned the whole thing as a surprise Father’s Day gift-a trip to meet a Maine Coon breeder to meet a kitten that was listed on her website. We had been admiring these beautiful, majestic cats for such a long time, I felt it was now or never. There was just one little detail….WE WERE ONLY GOING TO GET ONE!!
How quickly plans change! Somewhere between meeting those enormous paws, fluffy tails, and larger-than-life personalities, my plan was thwarted by one meowing, full fluff kitten that peeped its head out from behind a chair. A little Golden that had not found a home and was oozing cuteness everywhere. My husband spotted it thus it was love at first sight; he was hooked and that big ball of fluff was destined to be his. You may be asking OK? How did that lead to another Maine Coon??
Wellllllll….I went there for a completely different ball of fluff that I already had MY heart set on, and this was not him. The dilemna was quickly solved with a very reasonable solution! We had to have them both. Really, was there any other way?
And that is how our Maine Coon story began…
We had absolutely NO idea that bringing home those two balls of fluff would eventually lead us here-to Edenhaus Luxury Maine Coons.
